This September, some of the city’s coolest fashion brands and retailers will be taking over the first floor of Union coliving apartments for its first in a series of events called ‘Souls Sampled’ which will celebrate the city’s rising talent. Launching with the Kicks n Garms edition’, imagine a department store party bringing together the best of Manchester’s clothing and sneaker scene with fire threads, fresh kicks, and exclusive finds.

But that’s not all – the vibes will be just as fresh as the garms, with Manchester DJs G2 and Habitat’s Tone Rarri spinning throughout. There’s also a bar serving up your favourite drinks, so whether you’re copping new gear or just vibing to the music, it’ll be the place to be.

Named in the UK’s top 20 boutiques by The Observer, Old Town General Store is an independent lifestyle store based in Stockport. It has a key focus on emerging and heritage designers, sourced from all over the world.

Hikeadelic has garnered a cult-like following across Manchester. Bringing exclusive designs by working with world-class illustrators, has allowed the brand to release some of the most unique garms around. Expect to see hoodies, t-shirts, trousers and outerwear when it arrives at Union.

The event will be take place on the 28 September between 1pm-6pm. People are advised to book on to the free event here to guarantee entry, however there will be space for walk-ins on the day too.
